If you are a parent of a Learner Driver, then it is likely you learnt to drive about 20 years ago and have not done any re-training since. Road Rules have changed a lot in 20 years. Are you up to date with them ? The car you now drive may have changed significantly since the car of 20 years ago and maybe there is a better way to drive now. You may have a good driving history - but do you really want to teach your Learner to drive in a way that may not be current? Do you have the skills to teach them?

By giving your Learner lessons with a good Driver Trainer from day one of their driving, there is a better chance they will learn good habits. To encourage them to take this step - the learner is given 3 logbook hours for every hour driven with a Driver Trainer for up to 10 hours. They will still have 70 hours to drive with a Parent/Supervisor if they take the real benefits of having a few hours with a good Driver Trainer at the start and finish. It can be well worth it !!
