At Brizwest Driving School we recommend that learner drivers position their seat so that they can place their heel on the floor and comfortably press the brake pedal.

The learner drivers right hip should remain steady in the seat as the pedal is pushed without any feeling of having to stretch the leg.

The above seat position should be made independently of any lumber or height adjustments. The incline of the seat back is not covered in this brief note.
