At Brizwest Driving School we suggest students look in the side mirrors to see if they are in the middle of their lane. If the spacing on the left and right sides are about equal then the lane position should be good. When the Learner Driver is sitting in the right side of the car it is easy to be unsure if the car is in the middle of the lane when driving.

Many learner driver fear getting too close to other traffic and often move too far to the left. Sometimes it takes some conscious effort to put the Learner into the middle of the lane and eventually the subconscious will take over and this will no longer be an issue
