At Brizwest Driving School we recommend that you adjust your side mirrors of a Suzuki Swift so that the front door handle appears in the bottom corner of the mirror. This sets the mirror up for the optimum view to the side of the car, so that the horizon appears in the middle of the mirror and you can view the road behind you and the objects as far back as the horizon

As can be seen from the picture of the bus, when the mirrors are adjusted this way the driver of the car can see from the tyres of the bus to the roof of the bus and at Brizwest Driving School we see this as the optimum setting.
